Welcome to Twisted Clovers
Founded in the fall of 2016 by Brittany (Murphy) Demro, Twisted Clovers is a premier dog training service born from a lifelong passion for animals. With degrees in Equine Science and Management, Brittany's background initially focused on horses, but her love for dogs—and particularly Labrador Retrievers—steered her towards creating a specialized dog training business.
Growing up with Labradors and witnessing their profound impact on mental and emotional well-being, especially through her father's experiences as a veteran, Brittany realized the incredible bond between dogs and people. This insight, combined with her extensive training background, inspired her to dedicate her skills to helping dogs and their owners.
Our Achievements
At Twisted Clovers, we take pride in our accomplishments and the positive impact we've made. In 2024, we qualified for the Rally Nationals Championship and achieved a commendable 25th place out of 109 teams. We've also successfully trained over 30 clients and rehabilitated four rescue dogs who were at risk of euthanasia.
Our Training Philosophy
Our approach to dog training is rooted in positive reinforcement and balanced training techniques. We understand that every dog is unique, and we thrive on thinking outside the box to address a wide range of breeds, ages, and behavior levels. Our goal is to create a customized training plan that works best for each individual dog and their owner.
Meet the Team
As the sole owner and operator of Twisted Clovers, Brittany is deeply involved in every aspect of the business. Her husband, Cade, plays an invaluable role in supporting daily care and management of the animals. Together, they ensure that every dog receives the attention and care they need.
Our Community Involvement
Brittany is actively engaged in the local dog training community and beyond. She judges local 4-H dog shows, volunteers in various community initiatives, and hosts fundraising 5K races to promote dog health and local trails. Additionally, she serves as a table and ring steward for AKC shows and is dedicated to educating the public on dog training and service dog etiquette.
Looking Ahead
Education is a continuous journey at Twisted Clovers. Brittany is committed to advancing her skills and plans to expand services with video courses to reach more dog owners. Her personal training goals include pushing the boundaries with her own dogs and exploring new challenges.
Personal Touch
Outside of training, Brittany enjoys riding horses, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Her tech-savviness also plays a role in developing new ways to enhance the training experience for clients.
